Outpatient Mood Disorders Clinic

The ETPB evaluates both patients and volunteers—regardless of their psychiatric history—at the Outpatient Mood Disorders Clinic (OP4) for participation in research protocols at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). We also provide evaluations and consultations for individuals who are uncertain about participating in research but have been unable to effectively treat their depression.

Located on the 4th floor of the NIH Clinical Center (Building 10), OP4 offers private exam rooms and conference spaces for medical assessments, psychiatric interviews, and clinical research. Our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and psychologists, delivers expert clinical care in a research-driven environment.
