Our New Search Engine Delivers Faster, Better Results

Science Update

Take a moment to look at the “search” feature at the top of the NIMH home page. It may not look very different from a short time ago…but looks can be deceiving! NIMH is pleased to introduce a faster, more powerful search engine that connects our web visitors with vital mental health information. Provided by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), this improved search feature integrates NIMH RSS feeds with information from high profile social media platforms such as YouTube and Twitter. As always, the goal is to quickly provide accurate information but this new search engine delivers nearly all results in less than 750 milliseconds! We hope this updated web tool will enhance the search experience for visitors, in keeping with the NIMH mission to inform the public of mental health research that paves the way for prevention, recovery, and cure.
