Internal Opportunity Duties

We are happy to share an exciting leadership development opportunity. NIMH is looking for a highly motivated individual to serve as the NIMH Extramural Training Coordinator. This part-time role will be the lead point of contact responsible for coordinating and supporting the development and implementation of NIH and NIMH knowledge management of extramural job responsibilities.

Key roles and responsibilities will include:

• Lead for overseeing, implementing, and coordinating extramural training, learning, and professional development efforts.

• Organize and implement a training series designed for extramural staff.

• Develop extramural training resources and approaches with NIMH subject matter experts.

• Create and roll out resources for new and existing extramural staff.

• Consolidate and organize NIMH extramural-specific trainings and resources.

• Attend and represent training needs in other NIMH collaborative meetings and support activities through the central NIH Training Advisory Committee (STAC).

• Establish volunteer sub-committees among Division training coordinators and DEA staff as needed.

• Attend and represent training needs in other NIMH collaborative meetings and support activities through the central NIH Training Advisory Committee (STAC).

Eligibility Requirements:  GS13 level or above, NIMH Staff-only
