How to Become an Outreach Partner

The Outreach Partnership Program is an outreach initiative of the NIMH with support from the National Institute on Drug Abuse and in collaboration with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The Program enlists Outreach Partners representing every state, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

Outreach Partners are selected through a competitive process. Positions for Outreach Partners were awarded in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, July 2009, and October 2009. The Program currently has a vacant Outreach Partner position in North Dakota.

How to Become a National Partner

The Program currently has over 80 National Partners, including professional, consumer, advocacy, and service-related organizations with a nationwide membership and/or audience. See list of National Partners. Organizations with a nationwide reach interested in becoming a National Partner should send an e-mail message to NIMHPartners@mail.nih.gov with a brief description of your organization and contact information, including website.
